90-Weeks Journey Reflection
90 weeks of self-trained freediving taught me that progress comes from structure, patience, consistency, and learning from failures. From BOs and LMCs to safer, smarter training — the journey continues.
How is it to train without a trainer?
After 90 weeks of my freediving journey, I can finally say: it has been amazing, difficult, inspiring, risky, rewarding — and one of the biggest learning experiences of my life.
In my blog, I share my detailed training journey: plans, failures, successes, lessons learned, and the mindset behind becoming a self-trained freediver.

The Beginning: Ambition and Hard Lessons
When I started freediving, I had a huge appetite for results. Like many self-driven athletes, I wanted progress quickly. I pushed hard, sometimes too hard.
The result?
I experienced blackouts (BO) and frequent LMCs. Even though I was improving, the risks remained high. Progress came, but so did failures, frustration, and moments when my training became unsafe and difficult to justify.
That period forced me to rethink everything.
The Shift That Changed My Training
Over time, I changed my approach completely.
